I’m building a web application and need an experienced Django developer that worked with Django Rest Framework and in active development using Django. The core of the job is to architect and code the entire backend: models, serializers, views, and well-structured REST endpoints. Experiences including: - Using temporalio in past project - Understanding of basic accounting such as ledger and journal - Integrated s3 like services before - plus point: Uses surveyjs before Key requirements • Secure user authentication built with oauth and mfa, wired into Django’s auth system without breaking the standard admin workflow. • A clean, versioned REST API that the front-end team can consume right away, documented with Swagger or Redoc. • Integration points for at least one third-party service (for example a payment gateway or data-enrichment API); the exact service will be confirmed together, but the code must be written in a way that makes swapping providers straightforward. Deliverables 1. Fully functional Django project (Python 3, latest LTS Django and DRF) ready for production deployment. 2. Source code in Git with clear commit history and a README that covers setup, environment variables, and how to run the test suite. 3. Postman collection or curl examples showing successful authentication and sample API calls. 4. Brief hand-off call or screencast walking through the architecture and how oauth + mfa have been implemented. 5. Expected delivery in 4 - 5 weeks (first mvp with full features) Acceptance criteria • All endpoints return the expected JSON shape with correct status codes. • External service integration is abstracted behind a Python class or interface so it can be mocked in tests.
