I need reliable help keeping our book inventory fully up-to-date every single day. By midnight East Africa Time I will forward spreadsheets, purchase invoices, or handwritten logs showing new arrivals, withdrawals, and any status changes; your task is to feed that information into our cloud-based library system, double-check for duplicates or data entry slips, and sync the master file so staff can see live availability the next morning. Core activities include: • Entering new titles with complete bibliographic details • Updating quantities when copies are loaned, lost, damaged, or repaired • Adjusting genre and category tags so patrons can still find what they need • Running the built-in validation routine and correcting any errors it flags Deliverables I expect each day: 1. Updated inventory record exported in .CSV (system auto-timestamped) 2. A brief change log listing ISBNs added, removed, or altered 3. Confirmation that the dashboard shows “No Data Conflicts” after your upload Accuracy must stay at 99.9 % or higher; turn-around is 24 hrs from the moment you receive the source file. Familiarity with Excel, Google Sheets, or Koha/OPALS is a plus, but if you are meticulous and quick to learn, we’ll provide a short video walkthrough of the interface. If this sounds manageable on a daily rolling basis, let me know your experience with routine data upkeep and any library or inventory systems you have handled before.
