I’m putting together a lean, first-release ride-share/taxi app whose sole focus is fast ride booking and driver–rider matching. For this initial build we only need single-ride trips—no carpooling or luxury tiers yet—so the flow stays simple: choose pickup and destination, see the fare, and get paired with the nearest available driver. Two extra touches are essential: riders must be able to schedule a trip in advance and cancel it from inside the app if plans change. Everything else (pricing rules, surge logic, etc.) can live in an admin web panel you create alongside the apps. I’m happy with either native iOS/Android or a cross-platform stack such as Flutter or React Native; Google Maps (or Apple Maps on iOS) should power the driver’s navigation. The project wraps when I have: • Rider app APK/IPA ready for store submission • Driver app with real-time request handling and map guidance • Web or in-app admin dashboard for trips, drivers, and basic fare settings • Source code and brief setup documentation If things go smoothly I’ll look at adding pool or luxury options later, but for now let’s keep it tight, clean, and reliable.
