I run a growing chain of bakeries and now need a single, cohesive system that lets every outlet bill customers, track stock and feed all figures back to a central server. Compatibility • The point-of-sale itself must be a Windows desktop application that works offline when needed, then syncs continuously with a web-based server for consolidated data and remote management. Core scope • Billing & Sales tracking – quick item lookup, discount handling and GST-ready printable / digital receipts. • Inventory – real-time stock level tracking at each outlet, automatic deduction when a sale is made, and a central view so I can reorder in time. • Reporting – daily, weekly and monthly sales reports broken down by outlet, item and GST slab. Export to Excel or PDF is essential. • Recipe management – define each product’s ingredients so the system can consume raw materials automatically when an item is sold. • Multi-outlet dashboard – one web screen where I can see live sales, low-stock alerts and top sellers from all branches side-by-side.
