Project Overview I have a large .xlsx file containing products I used to sell, which were primarily sourced from platforms like Allegro.pl and Amazon.de. Each product entry includes key information such as: Product image or image URL Price A link to my own product listing (not the original source) Over time, many of these products become unavailable or discontinued. Currently, I have no reliable way to verify if a product is still live on the original source. Whenever I receive a new order, I have to manually search for the product to check its availability. If it’s no longer available, I must cancel the order — which results in penalties and wasted time. Objective I'm looking to develop an automated or semi-automated solution to: Determine if a product is still available on major marketplaces (Amazon.de, Allegro.pl, etc.) Use available data — images, product names, and identifiers — to locate and verify listings Periodically update or verify availability status in my master file What I'm Looking For I'm seeking a freelancer who can propose a real, working approach — not just a generic web scraping offer. Ideal applicants will have experience with one or more of the following: Reverse image search (custom or API-based) Marketplace product search via keywords or metadata Intelligent data matching (e.g., via product titles, features, or other attributes) Any creative, feasible method for verifying product availability without needing the original listing URL You’re encouraged to think beyond conventional scraping — and ideally provide at least a rough, initial plan or approach in your response.
