Automated Excel Attendance & Payroll

I need an Excel workbook that instantly translates daily punch-in data into clear attendance records and accurate salary figures. For every employee I will only be feeding the sheet with their total work hours per day; everything else should flow automatically. Core logic required • Working-day count for the selected month, excluding weekends (and ideally adaptable to future calendar years). • A Present / Absent flag driven by the work-hours entry. • Separate treatment of Paid versus Unpaid leave so that the salary formula rewards the former and deducts the latter correctly. What I expect to see when it is finished: 1. A clean, locked master template ready to duplicate each month. 2. Built-in formulas (no macros needed) that recalculate as soon as I update the hours column. 3. A final salary column reflecting basic pay minus any unpaid-leave deductions, shown per employee and in a monthly summary. If you have tricks with functions such as NETWORKDAYS, IF, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, or clever conditional formatting to make the sheet intuitive, that’s exactly what I’m after.
