Because our sessions range from STEM lectures and humanities seminars to executive briefings and sales presentations, you’ll need proven command of terminology across STEM, Humanities, and Business contexts. Most assignments are on-site in the metro area, though I occasionally schedule remote interpreting over Zoom or Microsoft Teams. Work can be simultaneous or consecutive depending on the speaker’s pace and audience needs; let me know which modes you’re most comfortable with and any specialized software or equipment you already use (e.g., wireless transmitters, glossaries in CAT tools). Typical engagement flow: • You receive topic outlines and slide decks at least 24 hours before the event. • You clarify any jargon or acronyms with me prior to arrival. • You interpret live, maintaining professional ethics and confidentiality. • If requested, you provide a short post-session summary or timestamped notes.
