I’m assembling a small, Jaffna-based student team to build a brand-new Android application from the ground up in Srilanka . The goal is to give you solid real-world experience while we ship a production-ready app together. What you’ll do • Set up the project in Android Studio and choose an appropriate architecture (MVVM, Clean, etc.). • Design a modern, intuitive UI following Material Design guidelines—think smart layouts, crisp icons, and a smooth navigation flow. • Code core functionality in Java or Kotlin, adding features we’ll scope together as we iterate. • Profile and optimise performance so the final APK feels fast even on lower-end devices.
