The goal is to turn the Allwinner T527 board into a fully functional Android TV device built from source. The core work covers the complete BSP bring-up, kernel and bootloader tweaks, and a clean Android TV build that boots straight into a brand-new custom launcher. Everything else can remain stock AOSP—standard media codecs are fine, so no additional codec integration is required. Stability, fast cold-boot and smooth launcher performance are the main success markers. I will flash and test on real hardware, so the image must be ready for over-the-air or card-based flashing and include clear flashing instructions. Deliverables • AOSP/device tree & kernel patch set hosted in Git or a shared repo • Flashable system image (.img) for T527 with the custom launcher as default home intent • Brief build & flashing guide (PDF or Markdown) • Confirmation that Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, HDMI, USB and remote control input all function as in stock builds Acceptance is met once the image boots reliably, lands in the launcher without crash loops, and plays standard H.264/H.265 demo files from internal storage and USB.
