I'm looking for a web scraping and/or data collection expert to help me pull information from a number of AI startup websites as well as information on listed startup client businesses. Priority ask: - Scrape ~15-20 startup websites (list to be provided once freelancer confirmed) and collecting the client testimonials, pricing information, and the features and/or use cases highlighted (more info on that below) - For the use cases / features highlighted, would like the details of what is listed on the startup website and how it is defined. For example if a startup talks about "outbound voice" capabilities, please describe how it is defined - From there, look up the businesses featured in client testimonials to collect the following information: Website, category of service (e.g., HVAC, plumbing, painting, etc.), service area, and size approximation (if available, e.g., locations, employees, revenue) - Please deliver the output in an easily digestible Google Sheet Additional value: - Propose any alternative methods of data collection. For example, is there a way to scrape business websites based on a “powered by [tool]” tag / widget that might be on the website? - Social listening / sentiment for the startup tools: Scraping for mentions and sentiment from Facebook groups, LinkedIn, industry forums, etc. - Generally looking for suggestions on what is fairly quick to accomplish via web scraping (or another tactic) in order to gather information on market share, use cases, and sentiment of the AI startups listed above Please note, this is a one-time project with no recurring updates required. Successful completion of this project may lead to future web scraping tasks.
