Senior Demo Engineer / Architect – AI Automation & Self-Healing Platform Location: Remote Type: Short-Term Contract (Flexible) Budget: Negotiable ________________________________________ About the Platform We’ve developed a next-generation AI automation platform for code generation, validation, maintenance, and orchestration. It features a modular multi-agent architecture, hot-reloadable plugin systems (Python, WASM, gRPC), and cryptographic provenance. ________________________________________ Role Overview We are seeking a Senior Software Engineer / Architect with proven experience delivering investor-ready demos for complex distributed systems. Your mission: Audit, refactor, and extend our confidential AI automation platform — integrating its core automation components and intelligent engineering modules into a robust, end-to-end demo that showcases platform intelligence, automation, and compliance-grade safety. Timeline: Flexible — quality and reliability take priority over speed. If additional time is required to achieve a truly investor-ready result, the engagement can be extended. ________________________________________ Responsibilities • Audit, refactor, and extend a multi-agent, plugin-driven Python platform • Patch and complete missing orchestration, CI/CD, and entry points for a seamless demo • Harden and document plugin architecture (manifests, sandboxing, health checks) • Integrate real LLMs and external APIs in place of mocks where feasible • Build and document demo scripts, usage guides, and troubleshooting workflows • Ensure cross-platform reliability (Windows/macOS/Linux via Docker) • Communicate blockers, risks, and next-step recommendations for post-funding scaling ________________________________________ Qualifications Must-Have Technical Skills • Advanced Python: async programming, type hints, static analysis, testing, plugin patterns, and secure design • DevOps & Automation: Docker, CI/CD, environment isolation, secrets management (Vault, AWS Secrets Manager), monitoring (Prometheus, OpenTelemetry) • Plugin Architecture: hot-reloadable plugins (Python, WASM, gRPC), contract enforcement, sandboxing, manifests • Security & Compliance: zero-trust systems, cryptographic provenance, audit logging, and regulatory compliance (SOC2, PCI DSS, HIPAA) • Distributed Systems: message buses, event meshes, agent orchestration, checkpointing, debugging across services • Testing & QA: unit, property-based, integration, adversarial, and compliance testing with coverage tracking • Frontend/CLI: FastAPI, Streamlit, or modern CLI frameworks (Textual, Click, Rich) Soft Skills & Experience • Architecture & Refactoring: unifying modules, simplifying orchestration flows • Troubleshooting: adept at diagnosing async and distributed workflows • Documentation: clear developer, plugin, and onboarding guides • Collaboration: comfortable in solo-dev or legacy environments with stakeholder coordination • Regulatory/Product Mindset: understanding regulated product lifecycles and compliance workflows Bonus / Ideal Experience • LLM Integration: adapters, prompt pipelines, streaming inference, fallback logic • Open Source / Enterprise: experience contributing to or leading distributed systems • Cloud / Infrastructure: deploying multi-service systems on AWS, Azure, or GCP ________________________________________ Deliverables • Fully operational investor demo showcasing the platform’s intelligent automation workflow • Runbook and usage guide for investor presentations • Working CI/CD pipeline and reproducible build environment • Technical audit summary with recommendations for next-phase scaling
