I’m preparing to launch a streamlined online marketplace dedicated to fast-moving consumer goods. The platform has to stay lean on cost yet feel as polished and trustworthy as the bigger players. Core scope • Physical-goods catalogue focused on FMCG items (groceries, personal care, household essentials). • A rock-solid, PCI-compliant payment gateway so customers can pay without worry. • Smart, lightning-fast search and filter tools that let shoppers zoom in on brand, price, weight, pack size, or availability in just a tap or two. Desired flow Vendors should be able to create accounts, list products, track stock and fulfil orders from a clean dashboard. Shoppers need a friction-free sign-up, cart and checkout. I’d like the front end responsive out of the box so it works equally well on mobile and desktop. Stack & integrations I’m open on tech choices—Laravel, Node, Django, Shopify headless or any modern equivalent are fine as long as you can demonstrate affordability, scalability and straightforward hand-off. The payment module must plug into mainstream gateways (Stripe, Razorpay, PayPal, etc.) with proven security measures. Deliverables 1. Fully deployed marketplace on my hosting, ready for live transactions 2. Admin/vendor dashboards with product, order and inventory management 3. Advanced search & filter implemented and tested on at least 500 sample SKUs 4. Secure checkout flow with sandbox and live keys verified 5. Handover documentation and a short recorded walkthrough If this aligns with your expertise, tell me how you would tackle the build, how long you’d need, and any platform or plugin licences I should budget for.
