Add Mobile Back Button

I run a WordPress site on the Woodmart theme and I would like a small tweak to the mobile bottom navigation bar. At the moment users can only jump forward through the menu. I need one extra item inserted in the same bar—an arrow-shaped Back button with the word “Back” or similar text directly underneath it. Behaviour • When tapped, it should take the visitor to the previous page in their browsing history (window.history.back or the PHP/JS equivalent you prefer). • It must respect Woodmart’s existing styles and colour palette so the bar still looks native on all screen sizes. Technical notes – Please do the change in a child theme or via a separate snippet so future theme updates don’t overwrite it. – The current bar is rendered in PHP; adding a single line or function call there is fine as long as the result is cached/minified the same way the rest of the menu is. – I’m happy to supply theme files and staging access as soon as we start. Deliverables 1. Edited PHP (or new child-theme file) implementing the Back button. 2. Minimal CSS/JS, namespaced to avoid clashes. 3. A short note showing where the code was inserted so I can replicate it on production. If you’ve added custom buttons to Woodmart or similar themes before this should be a quick job. Let me know an ETA and I’ll send credentials right away.
