I’ve been running a custom 7 Days to Die world on PC that was originally built on v1.2 and now needs to live happily on v2.5. Your first job is to migrate the map so it boots without errors, preserves player-built structures, and unlocks the new v2.5 mechanics. Because I checked “Yes, new features are needed,” please weave in some fresh content while you work—NPC survivors, improved loot tables, anything that shows the upgrade isn’t just a version bump :) Once the map itself is stable, I’d like a quick hands-on tutorial (screen-share or concise step-by-step notes) covering the Prefab Editor. Show me how to clone existing POIs, swap blocks, and adjust terrain so I can keep tinkering on my own. Deliverables • Updated world files ready for v2.5 with added NPC functionality • Any required mod folders and clear load order instructions • A short guide or recorded walkthrough of the Prefab Editor steps you demonstrate • Confirmation that the map loads cleanly in single-player and on a small dedicated server Acceptance criteria – No red console errors on launch – All legacy structures present and intact – At least one test NPC settlement functioning (spawning, pathing, and interacting) – Tutorial materials clear enough for me to repeat the edits solo When you respond, focus on your experience with 7DTD world upgrades, modding, and prefab work; that’s the most important factor for me. Looking forward to playing the “new” map soon! :D thanks a lot
