I need my current WordPress website and a separate modified-shop installation moved to a new hosting provider. The website needs a redesigned from the ground up. The content footprint is modest on the site side—about twenty pages. The shop holds roughly 4,000 products, so catalogue integrity and SEO‐friendly redirects are critical. During the move you’ll also be giving both properties a full visual and structural overhaul. I’m aiming for a modern, minimalistic look and a brand-new site architecture that improves navigation and load speed. Feel free to propose layouts, UX flows, and any plugins or modules you believe will streamline management once the migration is complete. Key goals • Seamless domain cut-over with zero data loss (pages, posts, images, orders, customer records). • Fresh, minimal design applied consistently across WordPress. • Re-structured menus for faster discovery. • Preservation of existing SEO equity through proper 301 mapping and sitemap regeneration. • Fully responsive templates, tested on the latest versions of Chrome, Safari, Firefox, and Edge. • Delivery, testing, and sign-off before year-end. Tech environment Current stacks are WordPress + Woo-compatible plugins and a standalone modified-eCommerce shop on MySQL/PHP. I’ll provide full cPanel (or SSH) access to both old and new servers. If you recommend additional tools—Elementor, Oxygen, Figma mock-ups, Git versioning—please outline them in your proposal. Acceptance criteria 1. All pages and 4,000 products appear correctly on the new host. 2. New design matches the approved mock-up pixel-perfect on desktop, tablet, and mobile. 3. Core Web Vitals scores in “green” for LCP and CLS on the redesigned site. 4. No 404s or broken internal links after DNS propagation. 5. Final delivery includes a brief hand-over guide and rollback backup. Timeline is flexible as long as everything is wrapped up by December 31st. Let me know how you would tackle the migration, your preferred design workflow, and any past projects that show a similar scope.
