Project Overview We are launching a new UK-based prize competition platform and are looking for an experienced WordPress developer to build a fast, secure, and reliable website with full competition functionality. We have already: Loosely designed the look and feel of the website using AI, including colour scheme and page layout concepts Written final copy for all pages Defined the required page structure and site flow Prepared legal and compliance content Your role is to translate our existing design direction and copy into a clean, professional WordPress build, optimised for speed, security, and scalability. This is not a blank-canvas design project. Platform & Build Requirements WordPress (mandatory) Lightweight, performance-focused build (no bloated themes or unnecessary plugins) Fully mobile responsive Optimised for fast load times and security Built with maintainability and long-term growth in mind Design & Visual Direction AI-generated page mockups and visual references will be provided These show: Colour scheme Page layout intent Overall tone and hierarchy The developer is not expected to recreate designs pixel-perfect The goal is to faithfully interpret the design direction within WordPress best practices Content All written copy for every page is already written and final Developer may make light formatting and layout adjustments only No rewriting or rewording without approval Competition Functionality Use a proven WordPress competition / raffle plugin Handle: Entries / tickets Entry limits Skill-based question Draw logic Clear display of competition rules Payments Cashflows payment provider Full integration required Payments must be: Secure Fully tested Working end-to-end with the competition system Experience with Cashflows is a strong advantage, but experience with similar payment providers is acceptable.
