I receive a Google Sheets link from my wholesale supplier and then spend far too long copying data into my own template so it can be imported into WooCommerce. I need a small, dependable program or Google Apps Script that will do that mapping for me in one click. Source: Google Sheets (shared link from the supplier) 8 Tabs with slightly different products Would like to make this repeatable for the future. (maybe we can create matching column names or something. https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1Id7ruwD_-aqup8N80_nks2K1zfM6ToTKqxFBcXJlH98/edit?usp=sharing Target: my WooCommerce-ready template (another Google Sheet, ultimately exported as CSV for bulk upload). https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1RqrM_mcJ-auF7wV8La_bXZj13mixc2HNB20lbUPwAAg/edit?usp=sharing Desired Result: I want the product updated in WooCommerce to look like this through the automation: https://new.vidiosys.com/product/sff-small-form-factor-i-ii-class-recorders-and-workstations/ Note: Please let me know what that easiest way to do this is. The conversion must pull these product details: • Product name and description • SKU and barcode • Categories and tags • Attributes Core flow I’m envisioning 1. I paste the supplier sheet URL or choose it from Drive. 2. The script queries the sheet, matches columns to my template, and writes everything into the correct fields. 3. Anything missing or malformed should be reported in a simple log tab. 4. Once complete, I can download the finished sheet as CSV and load it straight into WooCommerce without edits. 5. I already created a Google Script using AI to push the data to WooCommerce, but i am open to better ideas. I’m open to you implementing this as an in-sheet Apps Script, a lightweight Python script that uses the Google Sheets API, or whichever method you feel is cleanest and easiest to maintain—just keep it cloud-based so I can run it from any browser. Deliverable • Working script/tool with clear inline mapping so I can adjust columns later • Brief setup notes so I can authorise the Google API and run it myself If the tool fills every field above accurately and the CSV imports without errors, that’s success.
