Role Description: This is a remote, short-term contract role for a Video Annotation Expert – Cinematographer. The selected candidates will contribute to an advanced AI training initiative by performing high-accuracy video prompting and editing tasks.Responsibilities include analyzing video segments, generating cinematography-specific prompts, refining AI outputs, and applying deep technical knowledge of lenses, lighting, framing, and editing workflows.This role requires exceptional attention to detail, strong command of cinematographic terminology, and the ability to deliver consistent, high-quality outputs within tight timelines. Responsibilities: Create technically accurate cinematographic prompts for AI models using knowledge of lens aperture, focal length, lighting environments, and shot composition Review and edit AI-generated outputs using tools such as Adobe Premiere, Blender, or Vegas Pro Label and categorize video content with precision and adherence to project guidelines Apply industry-standard terminology across all prompting and editing workflows Maintain strict quality standards, targeting <10% defect rate Collaborate with internal teams to ensure alignment on quality and delivery expectations Participate in a short evaluation call if shortlisted for final selection Qualifications: Native English speaker (US, UK, or Canada only — mandatory) Formal education or professional background in Cinematography, Film Production, or related fields Strong understanding of cinematographic concepts: lenses, aperture, lighting, focal length, color temperature, and scene composition Hands-on experience with professional video editing software (Premiere, Blender, Vegas Pro, etc.) Proven ability to follow structured annotation guidelines with accuracy and consistency Ability to work independently in a remote environment and meet weekly targets Prior experience in video labeling, film editing, or AI/ML data projects is an advantage drop ur cv.
