We are experiencing a critical payment gateway failure on our Shopify store, House of Varada. During checkout, when customers click “Pay Now”, the following error is displayed: “There was an issue processing your payment. Try again or use a different payment method.” This issue is preventing customers from completing purchases and is directly impacting sales. Current Findings Shopify Support reviewed the payment logs and confirmed that Instamojo is returning a 401 Authentication Error, indicating an authorization failure between Shopify and Instamojo. Instamojo Support has confirmed that our account is active, yet the error persists. Our Portone merchant dashboard displays the following message: “Login has been disabled for Merchant by the Master Merchant.” This strongly suggests a broken or revoked authorization in the Instamojo → Portone → Shopify integration chain. A screen recording of the issue can be shared for faster diagnosis.
