I accidentally altered my live WordPress site running on an AWS stack and now both the layout and core functions are broken. The changes span theme tweaks, several plugin updates/installs, and direct content edits. Unfortunately, I do not have a usable backup to fall back on, so I need someone who can step in immediately, investigate the instance, and restore the site to its pre-change state. The site is hosted on AWS (EC2 + RDS + S3 for media). I can hand over SSH keys, AWS console access, and WordPress admin credentials the moment we start. Because no backup exists, I expect you to leverage any of the following, depending on what you find: EC2 snapshots, AWS AMIs, database point-in-time recovery, WP-CLI revisions, or manual code/database rollbacks. Your approach just needs to get the site looking and working exactly as it did before my edits. Acceptance criteria • Front-end appearance matches the last stable version (all pages, theme styling, menus, widgets). • All plugins function without errors or conflicts. • Core WordPress and server logs show no critical warnings. • You document the steps taken and leave me with a fresh backup stored in S3. Please indicate how soon you can start, the method you plan to use, and a rough estimate of how long the full restore will take once you’re logged in.
