Description: I’m looking for an experienced developer to update and improve an existing Discord AI bot that predicts player performance across major U.S. sports leagues (NBA, NFL, MLB, NHL). The bot is already functional but needs additional features and refinements. Key Tasks: Integrate expected value (EV) calculations into predictions Pull in real-time sportsbook odds (from APIs such as DraftKings, FanDuel, BetMGM, etc.) Improve data accuracy & performance predictions (hits, bases, HRs for MLB; points, assists, rebounds for NBA; yards, TDs for NFL; goals, assists, SOG for NHL) Enhance user-friendly output (clear breakdowns, charts, probabilities) within Discord Maintain multi-sport support and ensure smooth scaling Requirements: Strong experience with Python/JavaScript (whichever aligns with Discord bot framework) Knowledge of Discord API & bot development Familiarity with sports data APIs (e.g., Sportradar, Sportsdata.io, Odds API, etc.) Background in sports analytics or betting data (EV, line movement, props) is a huge plus Ability to write clean, well-documented, and scalable code Nice to Have: Experience with machine learning models for player performance Knowledge of betting market mechanics Ability to suggest UI/UX improvements for Discord display Deliverables: Updated Discord AI bot with EV and sportsbook odds integration Tested and optimized system across NBA, NFL, MLB, NHL Documentation for setup, API usage, and maintenance Budget: Flexible depending on experience (please include estimated hours/rate in your proposal).
