Website Developer (Contract) We are looking for an experienced web developer to update and optimise our existing financial services website, built on the Umbraco platform. This is not a ground-up build; we need someone who can hit the ground running, improve what we already have, and deliver results quickly. About the Role You will work closely with our marketing team to redevelop and enhance pages on our current Umbraco site, improving both the visitor experience and the ease with which our team can manage content day to day. Strong design instincts are just as important as technical ability here, as we need pages that look polished and perform well. What You Will Be Working On You will restructure and optimise our service and product pages, which are the core of the site, and configure Umbraco so that our team can update copy and add new content without needing to touch any code. Every page should be built with lead generation in mind, with clear calls to action that connect directly to our CRM, and layouts that showcase what we do in a professional and engaging way. We also want the groundwork laid for a news or updates section, even if it is not surfaced to visitors straight away, so please code with future expansion in mind. Essential Requirements You must have proven experience working with Umbraco and in .NET, including configuring the back office for non-technical editors. You should be comfortable redeveloping pages quickly without sacrificing quality, and you should have a strong eye for design, particularly within financial services or similarly regulated environments. Experience optimising pages for lead generation and search visibility is essential. Nice to Have Experience building contact forms and calculator sections would be an advantage, as these are planned for a later phase of work. Deliverable An ongoing role to improve the UI and UX of our current site and help to develop it for the future. A monthly flat fee to be negotiated.
