Job Description: Tuya Smart Valve Full Integration Into Home Assistant (Mavronero Farm – mavronero.cy) At Mavronero Farm (mavronero.cy), we use Tuya smart irrigation valves equipped with a water meter and a soil sensor. These devices are already connected to Home Assistant, but we need a specialist to fully integrate them using all available Tuya DP (datapoint) codes for complete control, monitoring, and automation. We are looking for an experienced Home Assistant / Tuya developer to complete the integration. What we need: Clean Integration Ensure the valves are connected only via Xtend Tuya (local) Remove or disable Tuya Cloud duplicates Enable “Expose all DP codes” so all datapoints become visible in Home Assistant Full DP Mapping Create correct Home Assistant entities for all relevant functions: Valve on/off Irrigation countdown time Soil moisture Soil temperature Soil sensor battery Valve battery and charging state (bit decoding) Water flow / capacity Irrigation cycle count Fault states such as flow meter error, no water, low battery, sensor offline Start and end timestamps Automation DP codes Any raw DP commands needed for advanced control Usability Improvements Convert raw DP values into readable template sensors Create a script: “Run irrigation for X minutes” Optional: create a dashboard card showing soil moisture, soil temperature, battery levels, faults, water usage, and valve controls Optional Automation Automatic irrigation based on soil moisture thresholds Requirements: Strong experience with Home Assistant Knowledge of Tuya Local or Xtend Tuya Experience decoding and mapping DP codes Ability to create YAML template sensors, scripts, and automations Access: Remote access can be provided through AnyDesk or a guided session. Goal: A fully working and stable integration where all DP codes from the Tuya valves and soil sensors at Mavronero Farm (mavronero.cy) are available, decoded, and usable in Home Assistant, enabling smart and reliable irrigation control.
