I have a collection of more than 1,700 JPEG and PNG screenshots that sit in folders whose names already contain the dates I need. I want a web application that lets me drop those folders in, reads the dates straight from each folder name, arranges every image chronologically, and then exports the whole sequence as a single PowerPoint file—one slide per image, in perfect order. Front-end and back-end can be built in whatever modern stack you prefer; what matters most is that the interface is clean, the upload can cope with large batches, and the final .pptx faithfully mirrors the timeline. If a date is missing or unreadable, the app should flag it so I can correct it before the deck is generated. Acceptance criteria • Drag-and-drop (or folder select) upload that ingests 1,700+ images in one session • Date extraction from folder names, not from the image itself • Chronological sorting and automatic slide creation (16:9 layout) • Downloadable PowerPoint deck that opens without warnings in the latest Microsoft 365 • Progress indicator and basic error reporting during processing Optional—but nice to have: a lightweight admin view where I can see past jobs, re-download decks, or add a cover slide before export. That’s the full scope; once the app can do that reliably I’m happy.
