Project Overview We are looking for a skilled developer to create a data pipeline and visualization dashboard for our Managed Service Provider (MSP) operations. The goal is to download ticket data from Syncro, store it in a structured database, and then visualize the data through Grafana (or a similar dashboarding tool). The result should provide real-time or regularly refreshed insights into our ticket metrics—such as open vs. closed tickets, response times, SLA performance, and technician workload. Objectives Data Extraction Connect to the Syncro API and retrieve ticket data (including ticket details, status, technician, timestamps, etc.). API brief - https://api-docs.syncromsp.com/ Schedule data syncs (e.g., hourly or daily). Ensure data accuracy and handle pagination, authentication, and rate limits properly. Database Setup Design and implement a database to store the ticket data. Database type can be MySQL, PostgreSQL, or another efficient solution. Implement schema optimized for reporting and visualization. Include historical tracking to allow for time-based analysis. Dashboard Visualization Use Grafana or a comparable tool (e.g., Metabase, Power BI, or Tableau) to build interactive dashboards. Visualize key KPIs: ticket volume trends, average resolution times, open vs. closed ratios, technician performance, and SLA compliance. Create filters for date range, technician, and ticket type. Documentation & Handoff Provide setup documentation, including API credentials configuration, database connection details, and dashboard installation steps. Offer guidance on how to modify queries and visuals.
