I’m ready to launch a product-based C2C marketplace in the United Arab Emirates and need Stripe Connect configured so individual sellers (not registered companies) can receive payments seamlessly while I collect my platform fee. Payments will be processed only in AED, so multicurrency logic is unnecessary, yet compliance with Stripe’s UAE requirements for individual accounts is essential. PLEASE NOTE STRIPE CONNECT EXPERIENCE IN THE UAE IS REQUIRED! YOUR BID MUST REFLECT THIS OR IT WILL BE DELETED. OUR PLATFORM WE NEED STRIPE CONNECT CONFIGURED SO BUYERS CAN PAY SELLERS WHO ARE INDIVIDUALS NOT COMPANIES. WHEN A SELLER REGISTER, STRIPE AUTHENTICATE THE SELLER BANK ACCOUNT - EXPLAIN HOW THIS IS DONE IN THE UAE FOR INDIVIDUALS. IF THIS IS NOT IN YOUR PROPOSAL IT WILL BE DELETED. Both buyers and sellers must authenticate before any transaction. I already have the user database and session management in place; your task is to wire Stripe’s onboarding, KYC, and payout flow into it, then expose the necessary webhooks so every order updates its status in real time. Deliverables • Stripe Connect (standard or custom, whichever best fits individuals in the UAE) fully integrated into my existing codebase. • Secure OAuth-style onboarding screens embedded or redirected per Stripe guidelines. • Webhooks for account updates, charge.succeeded, payout events, and dispute handling. • Client-side and server-side calls for creating checkout sessions, transferring funds, and capturing the application fee. • Clear hand-off documentation with environment variables, test cards, and steps to switch from test to live mode. Acceptance criteria Integration must: 1. Onboard a new seller, pass KYC, and list them under Connected Accounts. 2. Process a test order showing platform fee and seller payout in dashboard. 3. Trigger webhooks that update order status in my database without errors. 4. Work end-to-end in live mode after I swap the keys. Stack: Node.js backend with Express, React front end, PostgreSQL. If you see a cleaner approach with the same stack, let me know in your hand-off notes. Timeline is short, so please have prior experience launching Stripe Connect marketplaces—ideally within the GCC.
