Ergonomics sits at the very top of my priority list, so every decision—from shape to stitch line—needs to support healthy posture and pressure distribution for newborns and infants. Key ergonomic features to build in: • Head support • Back support • Adjustable positions Organic cotton is the preferred outer fabric; it must be breathable, hypoallergenic, and fully compliant with baby-safety standards. Internal components will likely pair low-VOC foam with strategic fiber fill, but I’m open to your expert suggestions if they improve comfort or airflow. Deliverables I expect at hand-off: 1. Original design concept visuals (sketches and/or 3D) 2. Detailed ergonomic structure rationale 3. Material schedule specifying certified baby-safe fabrics and foams 4. Full sewing pattern with construction notes and tolerances 5. Complete tech pack ready for a manufacturer (dimensions, BOM, stitch types, labeling, care instructions) Experience with textile-based products, cushion/foam engineering, and previous baby or ergonomic designs is essential.
