The Role: Beyond Content Creation We are looking for a sharp, intellectually curious individual who lives and breathes the business, retail, and tech world. Your primary mission is to be our eyes and ears, transforming complex industry dynamics into engaging, insightful, and credible content for our Instagram audience. You won't just be executing tasks; you will be providing a strategic opinion that shapes our content narrative. Key Responsibilities: Deep-Dive Research & Analysis: Continuously monitor news, reports, and trends in Indian and global retail, e-commerce, logistics, and consumer behavior. Go beyond headline scanning. Understand the 'why' behind the news. For example: "What does Reliance's latest acquisition mean for small retailers in Tier-2 cities?" Identify emerging themes that are relevant to our mission of empowering local retail. Content Ideation with a Point of View: Provide a weekly "Intel Brief" with 5-7 content ideas, each containing: The core topic/news piece. The "Rebridge Angle" - how it connects to our mission. A suggested hook and key takeaways for a carousel. Your informed opinion on the trend. (e.g., "This is a fleeting fad," or "This is a fundamental shift, and here's why..."). Fact-Checking & Credibility Assurance: Ensure every data point, statistic, and claim in our content is 100% accurate and sourced from credible publications (e.g., Bloomberg, Mint, LiveMint, Economic Times, IBEF, McKinsey, Bain). Provide source links for all information. Dynamic Content Sourcing: Find and suggest ideas for "fun facts," industry history, and memes that make the retail world relatable and engaging for a young, urban audience. What You WILL NOT Do: You will not be designing the carousels (we have a designer). You will not be scheduling posts (we have a social media manager). You are the brain; they are the voice and face. Who We're Looking For (The "Must-Haves"): A news junkie with a proven habit of consuming business news daily. Exceptional research skills and a knack for connecting disparate dots to form a coherent narrative. Strong analytical and critical thinking skills. You don't just accept information; you question it. Excellent written communication skills to explain complex topics simply. A solid understanding of the Indian business landscape, particularly the retail and startup ecosystem. Intellectual honesty and a commitment to accuracy. Nice-to-Haves: Past experience in business research, market analysis, journalism, or a strategy role. A personal blog, newsletter, or social media account where you analyze business trends. A degree in Business, Economics, Journalism, or a related field.
