I need an Android messaging app focused purely on personal communication. The first release only has to handle real-time text messages: creating an account, adding contacts, sending and receiving texts, and storing chat history locally as well as in the cloud so conversations follow users across devices. Reliability and privacy matter more to me than fancy extras, so messages should sync quickly over average mobile connections and remain private—end-to-end encryption or another proven method is required. A lean, modern UI that feels at home on recent Android versions is enough; Material 3 components are fine. Future road-map items such as voice notes or video calls can stay modular, so keep the codebase clean and extensible.
