I need an experienced MySQL-savvy WordPress specialist to slim down my site’s database. The priority is the table structure: pruning or merging columns that no longer serve a purpose, tightening up indexes where they genuinely speed queries, and converting table formats only if it helps reduce footprint without breaking plugins. Beyond structural tweaks, I also want every trace of duplicate or otherwise needless data purged so the final .sql export is significantly lighter. A quick before-and-after size report will confirm the gains. The current size of the database is 5.5GB and due to my hosting company I have to reduce it to less than 1GB.
