I’m sharing a Shapr3D file that I drafted with basic skills and now want to take to the next level. The goal is two-fold: polish the look and refine the function so the part prints cleanly and works better in use. Aesthetics • Smoother surfaces that eliminate visible layer stepping • Sharper, more refined details where they matter • A fresher, modern visual style that still respects the original form Functionality • Tweaks that improve real-world usability and allow the design to be reproduced consistently on standard desktop FDM printers • Geometry adjusted for proper tolerances, wall thickness and stress points so the piece survives repeated handling 3D-printing optimisation is essential. Please prepare the final STL (or 3MF) ready to slice, ensure there are no non-manifold edges, and include a lightly filleted version of any sharp internal corners to aid strength. I’d also like the updated native Shapr3D file so I can review parametric changes in the future. Acceptable if you prefer to edit in Fusion 360, SolidWorks or Rhino—just return both the neutral STEP file and the print-ready mesh. When we’re done I’ll test-print the part; success means it drops in without extra sanding and performs its intended task repeatedly.
