I need an experienced ServiceNow developer who can own our integration work for the next three months and possibly longer. The focus is on building and stabilising connections between ServiceNow and several external systems while keeping our CMDB and ITSM data in sync. Key objectives • Design and script integrations—primarily REST and SOAP APIs—leveraging Integration Hub where it adds value. • Set up and troubleshoot the MID Server end-to-end, including secure network placement, credentialed scanning, and performance tuning. • Implement and manage authentication flows (OAuth 2.0, Basic Auth, certificate-based) to keep our traffic secure. • Write clean JavaScript and Glide code to automate workflows, transform payloads, and eliminate manual effort. • Diagnose and resolve integration glitches quickly, optimise performance, and document lessons learned for smoother future releases. Success looks like • Data flowing reliably into our CMDB and ITSM modules with no duplicate or orphan records. • A MID Server that starts clean, runs quietly, and reports its health in real time. • Reusable, well-commented scripts and Integration Hub spokes that the internal team can extend after the engagement.
