This is a long-term engagement with a growing portfolio of 6 to 20+ WordPress websites in the transportation and professional services niche. The right candidate will be a true digital partner — someone who thinks like an owner, works independently, and is passionate about staying ahead of the curve in modern search. This is not a standard content creation role. Our AI-powered content system handles all initial research, writing, and link building. Your role is the critical final stage: you will enter each website, audit every new and existing page, and bring it to the highest possible standard of technical SEO excellence, visual quality, and conversion performance. Our System & Your Role Within It Our content pipeline is largely automated. A sophisticated bot system publishes new pages across our network, handling the heavy lifting of research, copywriting, and internal/external linking. However, automation has limits. The bot occasionally introduces errors in how metadata is placed, and the raw output, while well-researched, needs the expert eye of a human optimizer to truly perform. Your job begins where the bot's job ends. You will access each website, review every page against a strict performance checklist, and make all necessary corrections and improvements. You are the quality control, the strategist, and the conversion specialist — all in one. Scope of Work The table below outlines the core areas of responsibility for this retainer engagement. Area Description On-Page SEO Auditing Review all pages using Yoast SEO or Rank Math. Every page must achieve a minimum score of 85% or higher. Any page falling below this threshold must be revised until it meets the standard. Metadata Correction Identify and fix any pages where meta titles, meta descriptions, or AEO answer blocks are appearing as visible text on the page rather than being correctly placed in the site's HTML header. AEO & GEO Optimization Optimize content for Answer Engine Optimization (AEO), Generative Engine Optimization (GEO), and AI-powered search platforms (e.g., Google AI Overviews, Perplexity, ChatGPT search). Structure content to win featured snippets, answer boxes, and AI citations. CTA Design & Placement Strategically design and position strong, compelling Calls-to-Action (CTAs) on every page. The goal is maximum click-through rate and lead generation. Every page must have a clear, prominent, and persuasive action for the user to take. Visual & Layout QA Review the aesthetic presentation of each page. Ensure proper formatting, visual hierarchy, spacing, and readability. The page must look professional and polished — not like raw machine-generated content. Proactive Optimization Go beyond the checklist. If you identify any other opportunity — a schema markup improvement, a heading restructure, a missing internal link, a slow-loading image — fix it or flag it. We want a partner who thinks ahead. Reporting Provide a brief monthly summary of work completed, pages optimized, key improvements made, and any recommendations for the coming month. Technical Requirements in Detail On-Page SEO (85%+ Minimum Score). Every page in the portfolio must meet or exceed an 85% SEO score as measured by Yoast SEO or Rank Math.
