Role Overview: As a Senior Software Engineer, you will be instrumental in building and scaling multi-node AI agents that assist in legal decision-making. You'll work across the full tech stack, collaborating with a dynamic team to create impactful solutions for the legal and healthcare sectors. You’ll be a key contributor to both technical architecture and setting the engineering culture of a fast-growing startup. Responsibilities: Architect and build AI-driven systems to address complex legal problems, focusing on healthcare-related litigation. Develop multi-node agents with AI and machine learning, including integrating large language models (LLMs) to automate and optimize legal processes. Work across the entire stack, from backend to frontend, with an emphasis on Python and React. Collaborate closely with legal and domain experts to translate complex legal concepts into robust technical architectures. Contribute to the development of a scalable and maintainable codebase while ensuring high-quality, production-grade software. Help establish and nurture a strong engineering culture, mentoring junior engineers as the team grows. Requirements: 5+ years of experience building production-level software, ideally within an early-stage startup environment. Strong proficiency in Python and React, with a solid understanding of machine learning principles and frameworks. Experience in building and deploying AI and ML solutions, particularly large language model (LLM)-based features. Ability to solve complex problems by breaking down legal and technical challenges into clear, actionable tasks. Excellent communication skills and the ability to work cross-functionally with both technical and non-technical teams. Bonus Qualifications: Familiarity with legal tech, healthcare, or biotech industries is a plus. Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and microservices architecture.
