Senior Backend Software Engineer We are looking for a Senior Backend Engineer to build and scale cloud-native, low-latency microservices used in high-security environments. You will work across modern backend stacks, distributed systems, and AWS-based infrastructure while owning services end-to-end. Responsibilities Build and optimize large-scale, low-latency microservices. Own services from design to deployment, including monitoring and on-call. Improve automated testing across unit, integration, and functional levels. Troubleshoot and resolve complex distributed system issues. Work with Golang, Scala, Java, Python, and Ruby, deployed on AWS. Requirements 3–5+ years of backend engineering experience (CS degree or equivalent). Strong skills in Golang, Python, Scala, Java, and/or Ruby on Rails. Solid understanding of algorithms, distributed systems, and API design. Experience with event streaming (Kafka or similar). Knowledge of Postgres, MySQL, DynamoDB, and transactional data modeling. Cloud development experience, especially with AWS. High ownership, strong communication, and attention to detail. Nice to Have Experience with serverless, Docker/Kubernetes, or TypeLevel Scala. Exposure to ML/LLMs (RAG, NLP, fine-tuning). Familiarity with AI dev tools like Cursor, Claude Code, or Copilot.
