Key Responsibilities Platform Architecture and Development Design and implement the end-to-end architecture for an AI media generation platform (image, video, and voice) Build scalable backend services to orchestrate AI inference, queues, storage, and billing Develop a high-quality frontend web application for prompt input, previews, history, and downloads Implement REST and GraphQL APIs for internal and external integrations AI and Model Integration Integrate third-party and/or custom AI models for: Text-to-image and image-to-image generation Text-to-video and image-to-video generation Text-to-speech and voice cloning Optimize inference pipelines for latency, cost, and quality Implement prompt processing, safety filters, content moderation, and watermarking Manage model versioning, A-B testing, and quality evaluation Infrastructure and Scalability Design cloud-native infrastructure using AWS, GCP, or Azure Implement GPU workloads, autoscaling, and job queues Optimize storage for large media assets (images, videos, audio) Ensure high availability, fault tolerance, and disaster recovery Security and Compliance Implement authentication and authorization (JWT, OAuth, SSO) Secure APIs, media storage, and AI endpoints Ensure compliance with data protection laws (GDPR, CCPA, etc.) Implement abuse prevention, rate limiting, and fraud detection Payments and Monetization Build subscription plans, usage-based billing, and credit systems Integrate payment providers such as Stripe or Paddle Track usage metrics for image, video, and voice generation Implement invoices, receipts, and admin reporting DevOps and Quality Set up CI/CD pipelines for frontend, backend, and infrastructure Write unit, integration, and end-to-end tests Monitor performance, logs, and errors Lead code reviews and enforce best practices Collaboration and Leadership Work closely with product managers and designers Translate business requirements into technical solutions Mentor junior developers when applicable Contribute to technical roadmap and long-term vision Required Skills and Experience Technical Skills Strong experience with JavaScript or TypeScript Frontend: React, Next.js, Vue, or similar frameworks Backend: Node.js, NestJS, Laravel, or equivalent Databases: PostgreSQL, MySQL, Redis Cloud platforms: AWS, GCP, or Azure Containerization: Docker, Kubernetes Experience integrating AI APIs (OpenAI, Stability, Runway, ElevenLabs, or similar) Experience with GPU workloads and AI inference pipelines AI and Media Knowledge Understanding of diffusion models, transformers, and TTS systems Experience handling large media files and streaming Familiarity with prompt engineering and content moderation Professional Experience 6+ years of professional software development experience Proven experience building and scaling SaaS platforms Experience with high-traffic, user-facing applications Nice to Have Experience training or fine-tuning AI models Experience with WebRTC or real-time media processing Experience building creator tools or marketplaces Startup or early-stage product experience What We Offer Opportunity to build a cutting-edge AI media platform High level of technical ownership and autonomy Competitive compensation (salary or contract based) Flexible remote work Long-term collaboration potential
