My current portfolio site has been compromised with malware, so I need a fresh, clean build on a new server. I want to start from a modern, sleek template (WordPress, Webflow, or a comparable framework—whichever you work fastest in) and replicate the existing content, imagery, and basic structure while tightening security throughout the stack. Scope of work • Spin up a brand-new hosting environment (cPanel, Plesk, or a managed WordPress host is fine) and point the domain only after everything is signed off. • Install and customise the chosen modern template so the site feels current and visually polished. • Re-create all pages from the old site—text, images, video embeds—without transferring any infected code. • Implement security hardening: file-permission audit, updated plugins, firewall rules, daily malware scans, and secure backups. • Thorough performance check (caching, image optimisation, minified assets) so the finished site loads quickly. Acceptance criteria 1. Fresh portfolio site visible on the new server, free of malware (verified by at least one malware-scan report). 2. All pages render correctly on desktop, tablet, and mobile. 3. Contact form sends and logs email safely (SMTP or transactional service). 4. Handover includes admin credentials, database dump, and a brief “how to keep it clean” guide. Target launch: as soon as we’re both happy the build passes the scan reports—ideally within a week. I can supply all existing content and server credentials today.
