Scanned Plan to Textured 3D Model

I have a set of scanned house plans that need to be taken all the way from flat images to a fully detailed AutoCAD file and a textured 3-D model. Everything must be redrawn to scale, with correct wall thicknesses, door and window sizes, floor-to-ceiling heights, and roof slopes. Once the 2-D geometry is locked in, I want a true 3-D build-out inside AutoCAD—complete with materials applied so the model is ready for basic renders and walk-throughs. Here is how I see the workflow and the hand-off: • Deliverables – Clean, layered .dwg of the 2-D plan – Fully textured 3-D model in the same .dwg (and, if convenient, an exported .fbx or .obj) – A few camera shots or a short viewport walkthrough to confirm textures and proportions Accuracy is critical: dimensions must match the source plans, openings need to line up, and all elements should be centred on logical layers for easy edits later. I’m open to suggestions on texture sources or optimisation techniques, but the final file needs to stay native to AutoCAD so I can continue working in that environment. If you’ve done similar scanned-to-CAD conversions and textured models before, please let me see a sample. I’ll share the scans as soon as we start so you can confirm any missing measurements before drawing begins.
