I’m building a fully featured salon-booking marketplace and need one experienced full-stack developer to take the project from blank repo to production-ready launch. Tech stack is already chosen: Next.js on the frontend, Laravel powering the API and business logic, and MySQL for persistent storage. If you have strong opinions on optimising this trio, I’m open to hearing them, but those are the tools you’ll be working with. Core functionality I expect you to deliver • Account system for both customers and salon owners with secure authentication and role-based access. • Salon profiles that showcase services, pricing, photo galleries, real-time availability, reviews and ratings. • End-to-end appointment booking flow: searching, selecting time slot, confirmation e-mails/SMS. • Integrated online payments (cards + wallets) with automatic payout tracking. • An admin dashboard that lets me view and manage users, salons, bookings, transactions, payouts, disputes and basic analytics. • Responsive, modern UI/UX so it feels at home on mobile, tablet and desktop. Development expectations • Clean, well-commented code organised into feature modules, pushed regularly to a private Git repo. • RESTful (or GraphQL, if you prefer) API layer with thorough validation, error handling and unit tests. • Database schema designed for growth; seed data scripts and migration files included. • Security best practices throughout: hashed passwords, prepared statements, rate-limiting, CSRF protection and encrypted payment flow. • Dockerised dev environment and CI pipeline so the app can be spun up or deployed by anyone in one command. • Basic documentation: setup guide, architecture overview and API reference. Timeline and collaboration I’m aiming for an MVP within roughly 8–10 weeks, then iterative enhancements. We’ll work in weekly sprints, review pull requests on GitHub and meet on video for demos and blockers.
