I’m expanding the team and want a writer who can take my detailed outlines and turn them into engaging scripts that feel like a true documentary—well-researched, tightly structured, but still easy to follow. Here’s how we’ll work: • Volume & length – expect one script every week to start, with the possibility of up to three. Each piece will land between 2,000 and 5,000 words. • Tone – documentary. Think informative storytelling that keeps viewers hooked rather than casual banter or stand-up humour. • Structure – I provide a thorough outline for every episode. Your job is to flesh it out, fact-check, add narrative flow, and ensure smooth transitions so it can be read aloud. • Collaboration – you’ll work directly with me (and occasionally one of my channel managers) so we can fine-tune voice and pacing until it matches the channel perfectly. If we hit that stride, I have two other channels ready for fresh scripts as well. • Compensation – I pay between $0.010 and $0.020 per word, calibrated to the quality of your sample and ongoing work. Deliverables I’ll review each week: 1. A Google Doc containing the full script, formatted for easy narration. 2. Source links or citations for all facts, quotations, and statistics. 3. A short revision log noting any tweaks from our previous feedback.
