About the Project (Only Mumbai-based Freelancer, no Agency ) We are building an end-to-end Purchase Order (PO) to Invoice Automation System. Customer POs are received via email in PDF format and currently processed manually into Excel and ERP. We are implementing two synchronized Robotic Process Automation (RPA) bots to: Extract data from POs Validate and structure data Enter data into ERP Generate invoices Email invoices to customers Maintain audit logs The system must operate 24/7 with minimal human intervention. Role Overview We are seeking an experienced RPA Developer to design, develop, test, and deploy automation bots that streamline the order processing lifecycle. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience in PDF data extraction, ERP automation, exception handling, and production-grade RPA deployment. 3. Key Responsibilities A. Requirement & Design Analyze current manual PO processing workflow Prepare Process Design Document (PDD) Prepare Solution Design Document (SDD) B. Bot Development – PO Extraction Bot Automate email monitoring (IMAP/Exchange) Download and classify PO attachments Extract structured & semi-structured data from PDFs Implement OCR for scanned documents Validate extracted data against SKU master Detect duplicate POs Generate structured output (Excel/DB) C. Bot Development – ERP Automation Bot Secure login to ERP system Automate order creation Generate invoice Capture invoice number Email invoice to customer Maintain audit logs D. Exception Handling Build retry mechanisms Create exception queue Screenshot logging Alert notifications (Email/Teams) E. Deployment & Support Conduct UAT Deploy in production Provide post-go-live support Knowledge transfer to internal team
