I am building a food-tech around show-stopping presentation, and I need an engineer who knows the NVIDIA Isaac platform (or an equivalent robotics stack) inside out. The goal is to combine a large-language model with Isaac’s motion-planning and perception tools so a collaborative robot can take finished dishes, recognise them, and carry out plating and garnishing routines that end in true artistic, Instagram-ready arrangements. Here is what I’m after: • Food-preparation focus: only the final plating and intricate garnish placement. • Plating style: artistic presentation with complex designs, not a standard assembly line. Your job is to translate natural-language “recipes” for presentation—generated with the LLM—into executable robot programs. That means: – Designing or adapting Isaac SDK workflows (Isaac Sim, Cortex or Omniverse compatible). – Integrating the LLM so I can type, “Create a koi-pond motif using micro-greens and aioli,” and receive a robot trajectory, tool sequence and vision checkpoints. – Prototyping the routine in simulation first, then documenting how to deploy on a real arm (UR, Fanuc or similar). – Delivering at least five completed “plating recipes” that run end-to-end in simulation and can be parameterised for dish size and plate geometry. I will supply sample dishes, plate models and garnish components. You bring the Isaac know-how, Python/ROS skills, and the creativity to push robotic artistry past the ordinary. If you’ve already built vision-guided manipulation pipelines or scripted cobots for culinary demos, let’s talk; links to previous simulations or videos will speed up selection.
