I’m rebuilding a production web application in React 18 with Next.js 13 and need an experienced developer who has already shipped headless-CMS–driven sites. The goal is to migrate our current marketing and dashboard pages to a fully typed, component-based codebase that supports server-side rendering, dynamic routing, and easy content authoring for the marketing team. You’ll start by helping me choose and wire up the most suitable headless CMS—Contentful, Strapi, Sanity, or another you can justify—then integrate it cleanly with Next.js using either SSR, SSG, or ISR where it makes sense. On the backend side the app consumes REST and GraphQL endpoints; I’m open to Node, Django, or Rails services, so your ability to map dynamic data to strongly typed React components is key. Core tasks • Set up the CMS space, content models, and webhooks • Build a reusable design system in React/TypeScript with Tailwind (or styled-components if you prefer) • Configure Next.js routing and get the first pages rendering from live CMS data on the server • Connect to our existing API layer, handle auth tokens, and ensure data hydration on the client • Optimise Core Web Vitals and add unit/integration tests for critical paths Delivery is complete when the repo contains production-ready code, documented environment variables, and a short README explaining how to spin up the CMS, build, and deploy.
