PROJECT: HIGH-PRECISION 3D AND 2D MODELING FOR CNC (NUCLEAR-AGE NIGHTSTAND) !!! MANDATORY: READ BEFORE BIDDING !!! REVIEW ATTACHED PDF: "Nuclear-Age Nightstand." REVIEW THE FULL PART LIST BELOW. In your proposal, you MUST include this exact phrase: "I will provide 3D Rotary and 2D files for the 7-degree angled legs and drawer box." If this phrase is missing, your bid will be ignored. 1. SCOPE OF WORK Convert every wooden component in the attached PDF into individual, CNC-ready files. CRITICAL (PART A - LEGS): These legs have a 7-degree splay. I require TWO types of files for the legs: 3D ROTARY: A full 3D model (STEP/STL) for 4-axis machining of the tapers and angled mortises. 2D VECTORS: Flat 2D DXF/CRV files for indexed 3-axis machining. 2. REQUIRED DELIVERABLES (PER PART) 3D FILES: .STL (High resolution) AND .STEP. 2D FILES: .CRV (Vectric VCarve) or .DXF (Clean, closed vectors). ASSEMBLY: One master .STL or .STEP file showing the cabinet, drawer, and legs fitted together. 3. JOINERY & TECHNICAL STANDARDS (STRICT PRECISION) 7-DEGREE ANGLED JOINERY: All mortise and tenon joints for the leg/base assembly must maintain the 7-degree compound angle specified in the PDF. Mortises must be angled into the legs. DOG-BONE FILLETS: Add dog-bone fillets to all INTERNAL corners of all mortises, rabbets, and drawer dadoes. Use a radius for a 1/8" (0.125") bit. ASSEMBLY CLEARANCE: Apply a 0.01" (0.25mm) offset to all tenons and drawer box parts to ensure a proper mechanical fit. ROTARY ALIGNMENT: Part A (Legs) must be centered for a 4th-axis rotary indexer to capture the 4-sided taper. DRAWER CONSTRUCTION: Model the drawer front with its specific overlay dimensions and include a 1/16" gap between the drawer box and cabinet interior. 4. FULL PARTS LIST (SCALE 1:1 - INCHES) [THE CABINET] TOP/BOTTOM (2): 3/4" x 14" x 18" (Includes 1/4" x 1/4" rabbets for back). SIDES (2): 3/4" x 12" x 14" (Includes 1/4" x 3/8" dadoes). BACK PANEL (1): 1/4" x 11-1/4" x 17-1/4". [THE BASE & LEGS] ANGLED LEGS (4): 1-1/2" x 1-1/2" x 10" (7-degree compound angles). BASE RAILS (2): 3/4" x 1-1/2" x 12-1/2" (Includes 7-degree angled tenons). BASE STRETCHERS (2): 3/4" x 1-1/2" x 14-1/2" (Includes 7-degree angled tenons). [THE DRAWER] DRAWER FRONT (1): 3/4" x 5" x 16-1/2". DRAWER SIDES (2): 1/2" x 4-1/2" x 12". DRAWER BACK (1): 1/2" x 4-1/2" x 15-1/2". DRAWER BOTTOM (1): 1/4" x 11-3/4" x 15-1/2". 5. VERIFICATION MESSAGE (FOR BIDDERS) Please respond to the following three questions to verify you have reviewed the drawings: THE LEGS: The plans specify a 7-degree splay. Will you be modeling the mortises in the legs at this angle, or do you expect the tenons on the rails to be angled? THE BASE RAILS: These rails have a specific tapered profile. What is the distance from the end of the rail to where that taper begins? THE DRAWER: The drawer front is an 'overlay' style. What is the total clearance gap you will model between the drawer box and the interior cabinet sides?
