The platform’s primary job is Pet Boarding and Daycare Management, so everything must revolve around smooth check-ins, safe daily care, and crystal-clear reporting back to owners. Core functionality I expect • Booking & Reservation – an online calendar where clients can request, modify, and confirm stays, with automatic availability checks. • Pet Activity & Report Tracking – staff should be able to log feedings, walks, meds, and upload photos so daily “report cards” go straight to the owner’s portal or email. • Customer Management & Communication – a lightweight CRM that stores pet profiles, vaccinations, billing history, and lets us send confirmations, reminders, and messages. Multi-user access is essential. Different carers, front-desk staff, and managers must log in at the same time, each seeing only the tools relevant to their role. Source code and setup instructions so I can host it myself later. 3. A quick user guide or video walk-through for onboarding new staff. 4. Two weeks of post-launch support to squash any lingering bugs.
