I am looking for an experienced full-stack developer who can build a first prototype of a small internal SaaS tool for our payroll team. The purpose of the project is to create a simple web application where we can upload an employee’s payslip (PDF format), automatically extract its content, and detect potential payroll errors based on our internal rules and French legal standards (SMIC, social security ceiling, overtime rules, absences, illness, primes, etc.). Key features required for the Version 1 prototype: • Secure login for our team • Upload of a single PDF payslip • Extraction of essential payroll data (salary base, overtime, primes, absences, net taxable, net to pay, contributions, etc.) • Application of our internal calculation rules to detect errors • Display of a detailed error report in a simple interface We can provide all internal payroll rules and around 50 sample payslips for testing and calibration. At this stage, I would like to know: 1. If this project is feasible with your technical skills (PDF parsing, SaaS development, Python/JS, basic OCR if needed). 2. Your estimation of the number of hours required to deliver a functional prototype. 3. Your availability and your preferred work process. If the prototype works well, the project may evolve to include features such as batch PDF analysis, smartphone photo OCR, more advanced calculations, and an employee-facing interface.
