Our platform powers our matchmaking operations and client experience. The Role: We’re looking for a talented Ruby on Rails engineer to join our small, fast-moving team on a part-time, contract basis. You’ll help maintain and enhance our internal platform, which supports client management, matchmaking workflows, and event coordination. Responsibilities: Develop, test, and maintain Ruby on Rails features and APIs Integrate front-end components (Bootstrap, JavaScript) Collaborate with the founding team to design improvements to user workflows Optimize application performance and database queries (PostgreSQL) Assist in upcoming projects like mobile app integration and AI-driven features Tech Stack: Ruby on Rails, PostgreSQL, Sidekiq, Bootstrap, JavaScript, React (nice to have), Python (nice to have for AI integrations) What We’re Looking For: 5+ years of experience with Ruby on Rails Strong understanding of relational databases Experience with Git and modern deployment workflows (Heroku preferred) Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset Available 10–20 hours per week Why Work With Us: You’ll join a warm, purpose-driven company that values creativity, efficiency, and real human connection.
