I’m overseeing a new initiative in Doha that relies on accurate, up-to-the-minute cryptocurrency information. To keep our analytics engine fed, I need a part-time freelancer already in Qatar—or able to work on Qatar time—who truly understands the crypto space and enjoys digging for data. Here’s what the role looks like day to day: you’ll pull price feeds, order-book snapshots, exchange volumes, and basic on-chain metrics, then clean, label, and store everything so my team can plug it straight into our dashboards. Most of the heavy lifting can be automated, so you should feel comfortable scripting with Python (Pandas, Requests, Web3.py) or a similar stack, and you’ll regularly export tidy CSV or push to a lightweight SQL database. Clear documentation of each script or API endpoint you touch is essential; I can’t spend time reverse-engineering code later. Because this is part-time, I’m expecting roughly 10–15 hours a week with at least one quick sync call during Qatar business hours. If you’re based locally, the occasional in-person catch-up would be a bonus, but remote from a similar time zone is fine as long as communication stays smooth.
