I have a single .obj mesh that I need turned into a solid body I can drop straight into my ongoing SolidWorks assembly. Please convert the file into both .STEP and native SolidWorks format. Scope and expectations • Medium-level detail is fine—visual accuracy and correct overall dimensions matter more than tiny cosmetic features. • The result must import into SolidWorks without repair tools and behave like a proper solid (watertight, no self-intersections). • Keep the coordinate system and orientation consistent with the original mesh so I can mate it quickly inside my design. • Deliverables: one .STEP file and one .SLDPRT (or .SLDASM if the conversion requires multiple bodies). If you normally use tools such as SolidWorks ScanTo3D, Fusion 360, or MeshLab before rebuilding, that’s perfectly acceptable—as long as I receive the final SolidWorks-compatible solid.
