Project: Development of a New Website for local Youth and Women community organisation Background: The existing website provides valuable information and resources for local youth and women but has an outdated design and limited functionality. To better engage the community and improve communication, we propose developing a modern, user-friendly website built on the WordPress platform. Project Objective: To create a new website that reflects the organisation’s mission, enhances accessibility, and provides a fresh, dynamic platform for promoting community activities, news, and support initiatives for youth and women. Scope of Work: • Platform: WordPress (latest version) with the latest Themes design • Design: Modelled closely on https://londonyouth.org for a modern, responsive, and accessible look and feel • Content Migration: Transfer and update relevant text, images, and resources from the existing website (to be provided) • Features (Adjustable): o Home page with news and featured stories o About, Programmes, Events, and Contact pages o Forms to send emails for feedback and service requests o Integrated blog and social media links o Mobile-friendly design and accessibility compliance o Admin area for easy content updates • Future Enhancements (Phase 2): Donation/payment feature integration Deliverables: • Fully functional WordPress website • Content migrated and optimised • Administrator user set up and documentation handover Timeline: Estimated duration: 2–3 weeks from start of the project Future Built in features: • Scalable foundation for future growth • Payment (Donate section) linked to payment method • APIs to other systems such as CRMs
